Antonio is a passionate, but often unemployed actor. Faced with a lack of job offers, he accepts a job as a teacher in a theatre workshop within a prison. The new job involves creating a theatre workshop in the Velletri prison. Even though is only a few hours job, Antonio accepts. Very few prisoners show up at the workshop. Antonio decides to stage the play with which he made his debut, Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece of the Theater of the Absurd with the title: Waiting for Godot. After initial tensions, anger and mistrust, Antonio gradually manages to involve the prisoners who, soon, show an unexpected talent. NB: With English subtitles.
