The Palestine Laboratory is a two-part documentary series (2 x 50 min) in which journalist Antony Loewenstein – based on his book of the same title – investigates how the occupied Palestine functions as a testing ground for Israel’s military and surveillance technologies. These technologies are later exported and used to suppress populations around the world. The series reveals how weapons, AI targeting systems, and advanced surveillance tools are first tested on Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, before being marketed as “battle-tested” to governments and security companies in Europe, Latin America, India, and the United States.
The event is opened by PHD and author Saer El-Jaichi.
